Winter Beach!

Winter is a great time to hit the beach! The water color is great, the crowds are gone, and best of all, your dogs can really enjoy the freedom of the beach!

Labs at the Beach!!

When you think of the beach, you might just think of Labs!

While I have seen Labs that don't enjoy swimming, most Labs love being at the beach!

Are you an early bird because of your dog??

For many people, a nice thing about having a dog is that they often force you to get out of bed. They are ready to go from the second they wake up to the second they go to bed.







They encourage you to get up, take them for a walk, take them to the beach for an early morning swim.













The early bird dogs get the walk, the waves and the ball! Enjoy the quiet of the morning with your dog, you will be glad you did!

April 1st!

April 1st finally! Now it is finally getting warm enought to really enjoy the beach. If you live near a beach , get out today, if you don't at least get out and take your best friend for a walk!

Puppy Time!

When dogs gather at the beach, they often find new playmates for the day. They are able to get along with others, mostly, and have fun . Meet and greet is always interesting to watch and then once they have introduced themselves they get ready to play!

All three colors!

Lab lovers often are partial to one color. These owners loved all Labs and had one of each color. Since she is an agility trainer, she was able to line them all up, even the puppy to get a pic of them at the beach.

Visiting Honey!

While I was at the Outer Banks this week I got to visit with an old friend. I first photographed Honey about eight years ago. Over the years I have taken many pictures of her and her photos have appeared in many calendars and publications. She still likes swimming but might be a little slower now.

It is always nice to visit with old friends!

Refreshing start to the day!

What better way could there be to wake up in the morning. Labs don't put their toes in , they explode into the waves!

The light is beginning to fade but someone just doesn't want to give up! One last run before we go.

Early morning can be the best time for dogs at the beach. There are no crowds and it often cooler.

Any day at the beach is even more fun when you add a ball . Any ball will do!
