Camera Critters!

Winter Beach!

Winter is a great time to hit the beach! The water color is great, the crowds are gone, and best of all, your dogs can really enjoy the freedom of the beach!

While pumpkins are nice, I tell Molly is wishing she was at the beach instead of in the photo studio!

Finally , a way they find who didnt scoop the poop!!

I know we all have been guilty of not scooping the poop once in a while. Sometimes Fido has another suprise for you and you have already used the one bag you had!
Maybe they will use this to find out who isnt scooping the poop!

Pointer at beach!

A friend pointed out that there were no Pointers at Salty Dogs! I have only seen one on the beach and this guy was in CA! He was quite beautiful!

Play fight!

When dogs hit the beach, they often look for friends, and when they meet friends, many of them immediately begin playing. Some dogs run with their friends but some like to get down and get sandy ! These two younguns are having a blast and at the end of their beach time, they should be good and tired!



Now Molly , my JRT, doesnt really enjoy this kind of play. How does your dog enjoy the beach??

Most dogs love the beach. Pit Bulls are no exception. They love to run, surf and roll in the sand!

It is amazing how much energy dogs have! I find they often have no idea when to quit and it is our job to remind them. Just like toddlers, we need to make them take a nap so they can continue enjoying the beach!

Diligence is the mother of good fortune! this Dalmation was very diligent! when he smiled you could even see how his teeth had been worn by grabbing the salty ball !

Summer is finally here!

The life guarding stations , I think they look like some kind of weird Stars Wars fighters, are back out of storage.

English Springer Spaniels are Quite Quick. They are also not Quitters so they will continue till they conquer.

They love to retrieve and they certainly don't mind getting wet! Quickly this one get the ball and Quits the ocean before the wave catchs him!

For many of us, going to the beach is a way to Nourish body and mind. Our dogs must feel the same ! Whether they run, look or play, the beach offers them something new and different.

Salty Dogs help with Earth Day!

Those of us that love the beach know we need to pitch in and help keep the beaches clean. This Cocker is showing the way by helping to pick up trash. Let's all do our part to keep the earth healthy and our oceans clean. Take an extra bag to the beach and pick up trash while your dog romps and plays. Be sure to pick up any poop that inconsiderate owners have left behind. Poop on the beach is the number one reason beaches are closed to dogs! So pitch in and help keep our earth clean.

It might still be cool out on the beaches, but get out anyway, your dog will love you for it!
