Winter at the Beach!

While winter might not be the time most people think of heading to the beach, for dog owners, winter is the best time.

No crowds, the dogs are allowed on the beach all day and best of all the weather is cool so your dog will enjoy running without getting hot!

Winter is a great time to hit the beach! The water color is great, the crowds are gone, and best of all, your dogs can really enjoy the freedom of the beach!

Puppy Play time!

When dogs gather at the beach, they often find new playmates for the day. They are able to get along with others, mostly, and have fun . Meet and greet is always interesting to watch and then once they have introduced themselves they get ready to play!

A new Salty Dog!

While Brooklyn’s first visit to the beach didn’t include retrieving in the surf, it did include a great time for both her and owner Melissa. Melissa grew up spending the summers at New Silver Beach in Cape Cod. “It made me happy to bring her here and see her have such a great time. She kept bringing me seashells and seaweed. She was nervous of the ocean and the waves freaked her out! She’d see a shell or rock she wanted and go to get it just as a wave was coming back in. She would jump back, bark then take off running at the water’s edge. We look forward to taking her again,” says Melissa.

Run Golden Run!

At the beach, the puppies run and play. By the end of the day, their little legs will be tired from trying to keep up with the big guys. Just remember a tired puppy is a good puppy!

Family time!

The best vacation is one where you get to take your best friend along. Family, fun, sun, waves and being together, what could be better!

Scoop the Poop!

If you love taking your dog to the beach, be sure to scoop the poop! Take along extra bags so you can pick up what others left behind. I once had to pick up the poop of a St Bernard because the owner forgot a bag. Try that with little sandwich bags which are perfect for a JRT size poop!

The biggest reason for closing beaches to dogs is the poop, so please scoop the poop!

Come on, take me for a walk!

This golden has gotten desperate, the dang guy isn't paying attention, and the puppy wants to go for a walk.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
