A friend pointed out that there were no Pointers at Salty Dogs! I have only seen one on the beach and this guy was in CA! He was quite beautiful!

When dogs hit the beach, they often look for friends, and when they meet friends, many of them immediately begin playing. Some dogs run with their friends but some like to get down and get sandy ! These two younguns are having a blast and at the end of their beach time, they should be good and tired!



Now Molly , my JRT, doesnt really enjoy this kind of play. How does your dog enjoy the beach??

Spring Days can be Hot!

Don't forget , spring days can get hot. Make sure you have shade for your dog while at the beach. Carry water so he isnt tempted to drink ocean water. Remember that sand gets hot on sunny days so plan your trip to the beach early enought that your dog doesn't injure his paws coming back from the beach!
